chi-kung

Chikung is a millennial Chinese art which uses movement, breathing and concentration with the purpose of releasing and recharging the body energetically . As one goes further into practicing, the body gradually is set free from tensions and traumas traped in the fascias and meridians. Therefore Chikung has, a physical and psychological effect .

Formerly restricted to the elites of the Chinese aristocracy, today its use is becoming more frequent in the West, either as therapy, or simply as a form of well-being.

Chikung is one of the 5 branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is prescribed for several situations such as: fatigue, general pain, weakness, depression, anorexia, addictions, etc.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine the patient may be treated with Chikung alone or together with Acupuncture, Phytotherapy, Tui Na or Dietetics.
